Jesse Colin Young passed away at age 83 on March 16. He was a founding member of '60s-early '70s band The Youngbloods, perhaps best known for their indelible rendition of "Get Together," an anthem of peace that still resonates today. Jesse himself first appeared on record with two solo discs in '64 and '65, then released seven Youngbloods albums, and followed that with a continuation of his solo career in 1972, delivering a steady flow of lovely records throughout the decade. He continued to play and record sporadically until as recently as 2023. This interview show with Jesse was originally broadcast on May 15, 2018.
